It’s 2012. We’re still thinking outside the box.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) means:
* Consumers pledge support and partner with a farm operation.
* Growers and consumer-partners share the ups and downs of local agriculture.

Choose the CSA program (also called a ‘Food Box’ program) that will best suit you and your family:

OPTION #1: The Traditional CSA
A traditional CSA program (sometimes called a ‘Food Box program’):
The consumer-partner invests a farmer’s predetermined amount, which represents a full season’s (about 18 weeks) supply of the farm’s food, often referred to as a ‘Share’. Usually this is done early in the calendar year, helping the farmer to determine quantities to plant and assisting with costs. Consumer-partners enjoy fresh locally grown produce throughout the growing season.

You pay upfront, the same low prices as the past two years — $275 for half share (1-2 people; $13.75-15.28/week); $525 for full share (3-5 people, or 1-2 who want to put up food for winter; $26.25-29.17/week).
Each week, for 18-20 weeks beginning in June (exact date depends upon the weather and growing conditions), you receive an assortment of fresh veggies, herbs, wild edibles and occasional fruits, determined by us, which you pick up at your choice of 4 locations.
Option #1 is for those of you who like the element of surprise!
NEW in 2012! Receive a 10% food credit to your customer account as a ‘Thank you’ for referrals (10% of the referral’s purchase amount).
OPTION #2: Greenshire’s ‘Outside the Box’ Program
More choices for YOU:

You choose which crops and how much of each you want on a weekly basis (barring unforeseen circumstances) from an e-mailed newsletter detailing info re the harvestable crops, costs, recipes, health benefits.
Easier share payment plan:

An up-front amount of credit is purchased, in an amount of your choosing (minimum $100). If you use up your credit partway through the growing season, you may purchase additional credits of $50 or more. If your credit is not used up this growing season, it will carry over into 2012, or you may use it for any workshops or other services offered by Greenshire.
Each week when your produce is picked up, either at the farm or a designated pick-up location, your account is debited, proportionate to your choices.
A 10% bonus credit for partners who purchase a minimum of $300 with their initial sign-up agreement ~ may also be used for other farm services or workshops.
NEW in 2012! Receive a 10% food credit to your customer account as a ‘Thank you’ for referrals 10% of the referral’s purchase amount.
Benefits:

You receive as much as you choose of your family’s favourites (we reserve the right to limit quantities), and none of those you don’t want.
Less costly to get you started on your healthy ‘Field to Table’ program.
‘Painless’ payments; buy an amount you choose and as your account runs out, more credit can be purchased.
